Tennis

I have always enjoyed playing tennis.  My grandparents have a court on their summer property along Lake Michigan and I grew up leisurely playing there. In the last four years I have played intermittently during the summer and when with friends. During the summer of 2011, I realized I wanted to play more if I could, so I enrolled in a fall semester tennis class at Oakland Community College with my friend Kevin Rossi. By the end of the course I had greatly increased my serving, backhand, and forehand skills.  The class also gave me the opportunity to play doubles, and that was a lot of fun.  The way you play the game totally changes when you play with a partner, and it requires a lot of teamwork as I found out.  I received an “A” since the course was graded on participation.  Class was often the highlight of my week!
