For my second semester of senior year math, I took a 4 credit statistics course at Oakland Community College, which was taught by Pam Jackson. In this class I learned about the organization and presentation of data; analysis of data, including mean, median, mode, range, and standard deviation; elementary probability theory using combinations and permutations; binomial distribution; normal distribution; student distribution; chi-square distribution; F-distribution; hypothesis testing; estimation, regression and correlation, analysis of variance (ANOVA), non-parametric statistics, and an introduction to statistical analysis using current technology.
